Anthony Bordac Founded FilAm Immigrations shortly after he brought his Filipina Fiancee to the U.S. to marry in early 2002. His journey to Mindanao started out as an adventure beyond any Westerners imagination.
He met his young beautiful brown skinned girlfriend through a pen-pal program and through the exchange of letters and making expensive phone calls after a number of months decided it was time to meet his exotic beauty.
After proposing marriage and placing an engagement ring on her finger it was soon time to go back to the land of reality again, the U.S.A. He spent many painful months trying to gather the right information so that he could be successful in bringing his Filipina Fiancee to the U.S.A.
The pen-pal program which introduced him to his one of a kind lady, really was not helpful with providing answers about how to petition his Fiancee, so he placed hours of his time into researching and calling and even going as far as getting tutoring lessons with an immigrations specialist who was retired from the formally known (INS) Immigration and Naturalization Service.
Eight months later he and his beautiful Filipina were reunited together and then married. The couple quickly decided to start their own pen-pal program which brought hundreds of couples together in a relatively short time, leading to FilAm Immigration Services.
FilAm learned from other similar programs that we could not be like the others who label you with a number and treat you like your inconveniencing them every time you call.
We just knew, that we had to be better than that.
